SPOT Production Fund commissions new art works and produces projects by artists living in Istanbul. As a curatorial mission, SPOT Production Fund is interested in examining the arts policies, and more generally the cultural policies, in and around Istanbul area. Commissioning a new project by Işıl Eğrikavuk as its first project, SPOT Production Fund is deals with artistic and curatorial practices which highlight the visible and invisible institutions in which art is produced, displayed and seen.
